Eligibility
Criteria
Professional Membership - any individual, firm or corporation
primarily engaged in the marine trades industry in the State of
South Carolina may be eligible for professional membership in the
Association. In addition, the applicant must also have a substantive
connection with the boat building and/or repairing or recreational
boating segments of our industry and have fundamental interests in
common with those of the Association.
Also, individuals, firms, or corporations who, though not primarily
engaged in the marine industry, nevertheless provide goods and/or
services to support marine businesses in South Carolina may be
eligible for professional membership in the Association
Individual Membership
- any individual who wishes to support the Mission and initiatives
of the Association, to help improve and maintain the waterways in
South Carolina, and to improve the conditions for boating may be
eligible for individual membership in the Association.
Applications and Fees
Per the SCMA By-laws, all applications are to be submitted to the
Association's Board of Directors for approval and acceptance.
Application forms must be completed and accompanied by a check for
the current year's dues and fees, as determined from the following
schedules:

Professional Membership:
Individual Membership:
1-3 employees $125 per year
$25 per person
4-5 employees $250 per
year
6-15 employees
$300 per year
16+ employees $350
per year
